Sea Of Rains.

From the Alpine Valley, the Teneriffe Mountains and Mount Pico - all near the crater Plato and the Bay of Rainbows - this is the clearest photograph I have made of the Mare Imbrium, with the high peaks of the Apennine Mountains catching the last rays of the lunar day as they curve around the vast impact basis, past wide Archimedes and Eratosthenes until they end near the giant crater of Copernicus.
