Baking day.

Catching up with myself. 

Hubby was off on Friday and we didn't do much, but did make some cheese scones. They were far from perfect. I made them too big; the recipe I followed had oven temp for smaller ones and as such, mine got too coloured on the outside before they were cooked on the inside. So they were crunchy, but not altogether unpleasant to be honest. I'll do better next time.

In the evening, I went for a catch up with friends. We used to have drunken nights with lots of wine. Nowadays it's a nice meal and cups of tea. How we've grown up.
