Guests at #Forum15

For all yesterday was International Night, the theme continued into this evening at Forum too. Here you can see an interview with Bala Usman, National Director of the Nigerian Fellowship of Evangelical Students, which is the largest IFES student movement in the world. Bala was telling us about how the Boko Haram insurgency in Nigeria impacts students and Christian student ministry. We also watched some videos about the massacre of students in Garissa in April this year, one with testimonies of some of the surviving students, and one which was made in Mexico, showing a response to the first video from representatives of a number of our movements. These two stories gave British students an opportunity to understand a tiny bit of what it means to be a Christian in situations where persecution is a daily reality.
