Early morning

This was taken about 7am today (not that early) when the sun was just coming up. The sunflowers are in our neighbor's place to the north, growing on what was, many years ago, a pile of manure. The previous owners had cattle and the barn was mucked out to this pile.

Another hot day. Nothing doing this afternoon. By this time next week we shall be down to the 70s which will be very welcome. The leaves are falling. As fast as you mow there are more on the ground. We do not rake leaves!!
