Garish Outfit

A morning in the Latvian forest. More sushi for lunch and a late flight home.


I stand to be corrected, but think this is a Violet Dropwing dragonfly. The male is described as having a garish outfit with a red face and segments and shiny metallic purple occult. The base of the abdomen is violet.
