Oxalis

Today I could not complete my leftover tasks from yesterday as the tiler is tiling the conservatory floor and my husband is working on the plumbing in the bathroom. What to do? Continue with the gardening maybe? Well, all morning, it looked as though it would rain, so I decided not to start outside. Oliver is not here today to help, so in the end I decided to catch up on paperwork, emails and indoor stuff.

Despite being very late home, Victoria was up early and ready to start at the college she will be attending, which is a Maths and Science college situated on the Addenbrookes hospital site.

Today’s picture is Oxalis, more commonly known as Wood Sorrel, Yellow Sorrel, Pink Sorrel or Pink Shamrock. It grows in my front garden, with the Roses and is considered, by some, as a nuisance, but I am happy for it to ramble and spread in that area.
