Twisted old tree

What a glorious day we've had ...... the sun has shone all day & it even felt like Summer had returned!

We spent the morning getting the garden sorted ...... then decided to take a trip to Kirkby Moor.

The heather was in full bloom looking beautiful ..... it was covered in bees & butterflies we even saw a Humming-bird Hawk-Moth ....... the Swallows were swooping over the grassland in huge numbers ....... we also saw a Buzzard circling above ..... fabulous afternoon :-)

Every time we visit there I am drawn to this old tree ........ I just love the shape ....... so I decided it would be today's blip ..... hope you like it too :-)
