On the Rhein..

A day of wandering down the Rhein watching the boats and looking at castles on their promontories. This is the wonderfully named Cat Castle (Mouse Castle is just down stream) and the Lorelei, the narrowest part of the river. The water level is very low so the current is comparatively gentle but there are flood markers showing levels well above road level.
