Looking North-West from Cockleroy Hill

In the foreground is Grangemouth with its petro-chemical plants and docks. Beyond are the two bridges; the old Kincardine Bridge and immediately beyond, the new Clackmannan Bridge. If you large it up, you will also see the two huge pylons carrying power cables across the river.
On the north side, the Ochil Hills rise quite sharply and the "Hillfoots Villages" form an orderly line just an the foot of the hills as the nickname suggests.
Another glorious day here and we were up to take full advantage of it. We looked after Euan for a couple of hours this morning which was great fun then lunched with FD55 and Gourmets Gold who are off this evening to the USA for a holiday. (Lucky beggars!) When I have finished this, there will be a wee dog to walk!
Phew!
