Great Spotted Woodpecker

Monday birding walk - at Lauriston Castle today. A first for me, and someplace else that I'll return to!
Today felt like it might have been summer (for a change) so we had a lovely walk in great surroundings.
Best bird photo of the day was this woodpecker, but the robins were out in force and we saw quite a variety of birds today, including several nuthatches, but none of them would pose for me. Planning a walk at Cammo next Monday - I wonder what we'll see?
