Black & White Clouds

This morning was bright and sunny but this afternoon was rather more 'mono Monday' as heavy black clouds rolled in, resembling smoke against a backlit sky.

The birds have inundated the garden today, emptying all of the feeders except the mixed seed.  At one point I saw 6 long tailed tits, 4 blue tits and a great tit all on the feeder at once.  The nuthatch was not deterred completely but fed mostly off the ground underneath, along with a robin.  Also spotted a greenfinch, and 2 male goldfinches.  

I did a lot of physio exercises, had a bit of a blip wander and then a swim.  Feeling I may have overdone it a bit, but a hot wheat pad and an anti-inflammatory with an Irish coffee seem to be resolving that small problem.  Hmm think I'll have a medicinal refill.
