Harvest's gathered in

This is part of Whaddon Chase in Buckinghamshire, a medieval hunting forest which is now mostly intensively farmed. It still has some significant remnants of ancient woodland and fens and many of the hedgerows now protect interesting woodland plants and veteran trees. It is one of the Biodiversity Opportunity Areas in the latest Biodiversity Action Plan for the county - an area where it looks like I will be busy with surveys and discussions with landowners over the next few years.
