Pingyao

This is a back blip because I forgot to bring my Pingyao photos home with me. I love the ancient city of Pingyao which is around 4 hours by train West of Beijing. I went here whilst Jenny was in Korea. It is very touristy but you can see the old town and it's charm underneath all the shop fronts. The food was pretty good too with a speciality of fried oat based noodles in chilli oil.
