Apple stencil

At the local horticultural school near us this Sunday we where putting stencils on apples.
This is an old technique from the 18th century where you can put an image on the fruit. The stencil is put on the apple, or peach, before it turns red. When the stencil is removed the skin has remained light. Takes about a month for the fruit to turn to its full colour depending on sunshine
I use old family photos for the stencils which are laser cut. Have put in a couple extras of the apples on the trees. Will take of photos once the apples are red.
