Even the Dullest of days, like today

When the sun never shone once, have some picture potential.
The main one was taken this morning in the beautiful River Breamish valley, the air was so still that the normally fast running stream showed a rare reflection. though the mist rendered the sky rather plain, and hid the hilltops.
The extra photo was taken this evening when it became a little brighter and we drove over the causeway to lindisfarne,  parking part way across to that I could walk out onto the muddy sandflat and get this image of two lady hikers, approaching the bridge carrying the tidal refuge.
The shot took rather longer than I anticipated, as I focussed on the bridge waiting for them to appear and they had stopped just out of shot to have a good natter!
Never mind, that as they say is the way it goes, and I hope you agree it was worth waiting for them to come into view for the shot.
