Wildflowers

There are couple of areas in the fields nearby which are set aside for windflowers. This area is only just coming in to flower now. Better late than never and it was a single patch of brightness in a rather overcast day. Those weather forecasters are not to be trusted.

In other news. We got a new microwave last week. Poppy chops took exception to it, running and hiding whenever it was switched on. Mr LIF phoned Argos customer support who told him to take a hike. He then phoned Argos post sales support who could not have been more helpful. We picked up an alternative one this evening. Well done Argos! Poppy is currently lying relaxed on her bed as Jake reheats his tea (footie night)

I can only imagine that the other one was emitting some high pitched sound beyond the boundaries of human hearing

There appears to be some sort of football on the TV this evening. Where has the summer gone? Sigh.....
