Left and...

Out for a couple of drinks with brother and sister to celebrate what would have been our father's 70th birthday. We've joked about how he would have felt about turning 70 but truthfully we think don't think he would have minded one bit.

In homage to one of his favourite hobbies, ChrisGroucutt and I have taken a stereo photo of his glass of wine (another hobby of his. And ours).

Stereo photography became somewhat an obsession for the old man and Chris even joked in his eulogy that our dad would often take stereo photos of subjects that really didn't justify having one photo taken of them, let alone two.

Some of the shots he took, however, were truly knockout and it's a shame we don't get to see new ones from him. So here we are: our homage. This is the left image and Chris's is the right (which you can find here). The plan is that these should be next to each other in the blip stream so if you go cross-eyed whilst looking at them together, they should lock and give you a 3D image. Hopefully it works for you. We will edit them together in a single image and add it as an extra for you too ;)
