Speckled Wood Butterfly

Stephen left for London this morning to visit his new flat and assess what he might require in addition to clothing.

We decided rather than a long car journey was to book train tickets and overnight accommodation to help him with the next instalment. I may even get to have a look round the area. My final teaching practice was in the East End of London.....think it may have changed a bit!

Out in the local woods I spotted this butterfly. Think I have correctly identified it and the first of its kind I have spotted. Always good to find something new.
