End of the day

The forecast had been for cloud and rain. We got the cloud, which lasted until well into the afternoon. After that, though, it was all bright and blue again, which meant we finished the day soaking up the sun beside one of the pools in our bungalow complex.

Before that, we'd had a fine lunch in the recently opened restaurant Novo, on Calle de Barcelona. A Russian place, with an adventurous menu and a great way with presentation. To be recommended to anyone coming here, especially at only €9.95 for a three-course lunch.

Our evening meal, in contrast, was a disaster. What can you expect from one of the touristy joints in the Yumbo Centre? Sensible after that, spurning the bars and back home for a bit of Netflix.
