Reflections

Daughter 'flying' and I were making the most of a calm warmish day before the predicted cold and wet front arrives. A wander along the banks of the Kaiapoi River and over the bridge into town which was quite busy for a Thursday. We did our usual grocery shop and lunch further down the road at our usual café and then a quick stop at Waikuku estuary where all was reasonably quiet.
 
I thought the water gave a nice lacy effect to the branches of these trees. It was so calm and ideal for reflections down at the Kaiapoi River today.
 
Thank you all again for your continued support and kind words. R is much the same but communication is difficult and tiring.
