The Third Forth Bridge

From one of the parks in my town you can see all the way across to Edinburgh, and the bridges which cross the Firth of Forth and link the capital city to Fife. Until recently there were only two - the spectacular Forth Rail Bridge and the (slightly less spectacular) Forth Road Bridge. Now that the Road Bridge is on its last legs, a third bridge is being constructed to take over its duties. Many names were suggested for this new bridge, but my favourite was definitely 'The Third Forth Bridge'. The pillars for it can be seen on the right-hand side of the other two bridges.
