Elephant Hawkmoth Caterpillar

The head of this monster caterpillar is retracted after my cat pawed it! Do see my extra photo of the proportionally small head when it is out.
With a forecast of torrential rain we had a huge pile of cut firewood to bring undercover but it was all done by lunch time. The donkeys were fetched off the hill to their lower field where they have a shelter. My colleague has put the flood gate up at the shop, we have been flooded twice before!
