La La opening night

It's hard to describe the beauty that is Staithes and the Arts Festival. You already know what this place means to us. It's like we plug into a source of goodness. You must come! Then you add in 80 pop up galleries, plenty of pop up cafes, all the normal pubs & galleries, buskers & picture shows, & you begin to get the picture!

A special reason to be here on opening night was La La and her opening night of her superb photos of Staithes, a show shared with her pal Totie and her canvas hand painted fishy themed beauties. It was all wonderful though she was a little bashful on having her photo taken. I helped by suggesting 'pretend you're posing for the Whitby Gazette!'

It's nearly 11 & MCC is still in her school uniform & we're about to eat pizza's! It's going to be an action packed weekend!
