I need you to use your imagination!

Here is the view along the north-facing slope of the downs and in a very small area you can find these Devil's-bit Scabious suddenly spilling down the hill in a gentle pale mauve mist. There are so many they are uncountable. Very few people know they are there but I have to go and see them just to make sure they have survived.
