Almost but not quite

From September through to April I run monthly landscape and seascape workshops along the shores of the Forth River and I am always trying to find different locations for the attendees to get some great shots. I was scouting this nice little place and had the frustration that many landscape photographers experience - nature doing things to thwart taking a killer image. For some reason the clouds on the horizon were nice and pink and the ones just behind me were exactly the same but for some reason the ones in the shot just stayed cloudy grey!
