TOWERING OVER THE FORTH

We did a cycle tour round the River Forth crossing south to north over Kincardine Bridge then north to south over the Forth Road Bridge. This is one of the towers of the new Queensferry Crossing taken from the Forth Road Bridge. The Queensferry Crossing is due to open in 2016 and the 1.7 mile long structure will be the longest three tower, cable stayed bridge in the world.

Looking in the opposite direction, you can see the original Forth (Rail) Bridge and I've included it in "Extra Photos".
