At the end of the day

An interesting day. Up early and out with the wheelbarrow before breakfast to help shovel deliveries of manure into the communal muck heap. Only 7 of us there to help out from the 20 or so plotholders on the site.

Back home for breakfast but even more to do before I could get ready for the day - loads of apples on the grass and beds to collect, sort, pick up and dispose of. Most are going to make cider on Wednesday, the rest have gone into the compost bin and wheelie bin.

Time then to do the seed order for next year, which meant going through the seedbox and sorting out those seeds that were past their sow by date before looking through the seed catalogue to see what takes our fancy for next year.

Time then for lunch for everyone after which we managed to fit in a walk via Tesco's again for more supplies and past the Maidstone Model Engineering Society track in Mote Park only to be back in time to FaceTime Christopher in San Diego.

By which time dinner had to be started, no wonder I found it difficult to stay awake watching TV afterwards.
