Wait a minute.... can't you see that,

Himself and I returned from the shopping to find Beau in "full hunting cat" mode at the foot of the tree outside the garden.    We laughed as is the correct thing to do, because Beau climbing a tree is as rare and unlikely as it would be to see me perform the same feat. 

We parked the car and turned round to her, and saw that she was still in "pounce mode" gazing up steadily into the tree.  

As we shouted her, while being steadily ignored, a noise emitted from the tree, so we both wandered over to see what was interesting her.   As we did - so did the Bean.  Things were getting serious. 

We looked into the tree, and I couldn't see anything, but Si spotted it.  A squirrel; and as he spotted it, it screamed, several short squawky, panicky noises.  

Bean turned and ran across the street, but Beau held fast.   Si bent down and picked Beau up; the Squirrel saw her chance and bounced straight out the tree and darted as fast as she could down the garden and over the fence. 

Beau went crazy bending and stretching in Si's arms desperate to break free.  Once the squirrel was over the fence we knew she was home safe and let her down.  Wow, Beau was annoyed. 

How amazing though eh?  That the squirrel shouted for help, and knew that as soon as Si held the cat she was free to go. 

I'm glad this shot isn't of a dead squirrel.
