Sayonara

The end of the school year. Always a time of mixed feelings. Sad farewells to staff and pupils, happiness for knowing they surely have great experiences ahead of them. An hour of quiet reflection in this shrine before the staff sayonara party. That was fun. Then I came home to find that my name was chosen in the lottery for the Osaka Marathon. Wonderful; I'll use the summer holiday to train hard and achieve at least a sub 4 hour 30 time.
