We've been looking for a new/replacement steering rack for the defunct rally car for some months now.

We go to Burstwick at some point this week to collect said item, I did a search of completed listings on eBay and discovered an unsold one near Hull.
Turns out the seller, one David Dyson was taught metalwork by my late Uncle Brian.
His words "best teacher ever, but you didn't fu *k about with him!" made me laugh out loud!!!

Tis a very small world, and seemingly smaller t'other side of Hull.

Even other news.

We managed to drag our lovely friend down to the pub tonight, didn't take too much convincing... What a week she's had!!
