a sunny lunch blip

out sharp today as I volunteer every Wednesday morning at New Lanark. Took a sandwich up to the roof garden as it seems that this will be our last sunny day for a few days - again - and took a few photos with the compact.

tried some candid visitor shots but they weren't any good, so this is the garden and fountain minus any visitors!

there are some bronze plaques dotted around the roof garden with appropriate quotations from Robert Owen [1771-1858] and I took one which didn't come out well enough to read clearly.
it says:

"nature requires its own time to mature all things, whether mineral, vegetable, animal, or mind and spirit"

have a good day, what remains of it.
