Spirit of Tasmania

The New Spirit of Tasmania has just crossed the Bass Straits and was coming in to dock at Port Melbourne this morning at 6:10am. This ferry forms part of the National Highway route between Melbourne and Davenport, Tasmania.

I was hoping for another decent morning so I can blip Princes Pier, Port Melbourne with all its exposed turpentine pylons constructed between 1912-15. Unfortunately the spring weather was not so kind. It was 10C, cold and raining. Fortunately, I was prepared with some wet weather gears; plastic bags for the camera and windproof jacket for me. I did managed some decent shots and will published in the next few days,
