Taking the opportunity

After yesterday's torrential downpours & thunder storms it was disappointing to see that it was still raining this morning ..... though thankfully nowhere near as heavy!

However just after lunch ........ the rain stopped, the clouds cleared, the sun put in an appearance ..... then so did this Small White! So it just had to be my Blip today :-)

Yes ..... you are right ...... that is Lavender it's feeding off ..... amazingly it has started flowering again ....... as have the coloured Buddleia ....... everything is going topsy-turvy again this year!

We did get another downpour mid-afternoon ...... but "the sun has got his hat on" again now! Not sure how long for though ...... fingers crossed it lasts ...... as we have more torrential rain forecast for tomorrow! We'll soon have to invest in a boat if this keeps up!
