Cardiff

Taking advantage of the fine day we spent a very enjoyable visit in the bustling capital city of Wales.  A very pleasant walk through the beautiful Bute Park at the side of the castle resulted I several more flowery pictures but in the end we decided on this iconic view of the colourful Castle Clock tower.  Apparently the heraldic design by William Burgess caused quite a stir when it was first viewed in 1866.
