New arrival

….to restock the garden that I’m in the process of clearing. It is Vibernum plicatum Kilimandjaro “Sunrise”, a winner at Chelsea Flower show this year. It looks a bit pathetic at present, but when growing is beautiful. I have the perfect place for it in the garden and plan to blip it next year (how’s that for advanced planning!!!)

The day started with lashing rain and being ever hopeful I did two loads of washing. A trip to R & P’s this afternoon to tidy the posh garden ready for their visitors at the weekend was successful. 

The only disappointment was experienced by the dogs, as they now automatically expect to jump in the boot of the car to be taken to our place. Still we spent an hour with them and they got some biscuits (don’t tell)

Back home to sunshine and a light breeze, so I hung out the washing and it is now dry!!!
