Ilmington

As it was such a nice day today we decided to go for a walk in the countryside.

We have various books of walks around the area and the one around Ilmington appealed as it was fairly short, not too far away and looked very interesting; also there are two pubs in the village. Ilmington is a village about seven miles from Stratford on the edge of the Cotswolds and the walk took us around the village and over some of the surrounding fields. We thoroughly enjoyed it, and so did Dylan.

Other photos I took in Ilmington can be seen here - Ilmington.

After the walk we sat in the garden of The Howard Arms and I had an excellent pint of Old Hookey. It was then back home to sit in the garden and read the papers in the summer warmth.
