Stormy Skies

It is my birthday today!

We went to meet up with our daughter and granddaughter for coffee - stopping at B&Q on teh way to top up on fence paint and winter bedding plants (woohoo - what a life)! It was quite busy - lots of 'senior citizens'  - but sadly I don't quite qualify for the over 60's discount on Wednesdays!

Our son finished work at noon so I went to collect him and we all went for lunch together. The on for a spot of suit shopping for our niece's forthcoming wedding!

Home late afternoon, after returning son to his house,  and then out for a dog walk - and the skies were getting really dark and gloomy. I just had to do this shot in mono - using Silver Efex Pro..it really brings out the texture in the clouds.
