A great day out .....

..... at Edinburgh Zoo. A beautiful day ..... tee shirt weather ... a real bonus. So many photos .... about 300 too many .... always hoping for the best view and as you know animals and birds don't always cooperate.
This magnificent bird is an Egyptian Vulture. According to the info a pair will generally stay together for life. We did go to see the Giant Pandas but only Yang Guang, the male, was out chewing on the bamboo. This photo is not particularly sharp as we were viewing through glass.
