Aqua

Rain lashed down in Frankfurt this morning, and it was similar weather at Heathrow when we landed back from the motor show trip. As we flew over the M25 it was clear that this was not a good evening to be on the roads. The motorway was solid with stationary traffic in both directions.

I was heading into London for dinner with my daughter, to celebrate her recent birthday. Not a fun drive, it took over three and a half hours for what would normally be less than an hour's trip! Happily the restaurant we chose, Aqua on the 32nd floor of the Shard, was excellent if rather pricey, but unsurprisingly so with fabulous views like this.
