Close in ...

After so many landscapes, seascapes and ponds, time for a very small-scale subject. The rock itself was a massive single stone that is part of a barrier keeping cars off a roadside car park that has become, apparently, unsafe because the sea has eroded part of it, but the gloriously golden lichen is just a small patch.

Small, but bright enough to catch my eye ...
