FANGS FOR THE MEMORY

Following meancoast's example, and because I have nothing else to offer, I'm doing a Throwback Thursday blip. Here's me on the right, aged 6, with my next two sisters sitting on our back porch in Australia. Dad was on a two-year posting from the UK. I'd lost my first front tooth in an apple and the second one when I jumped off the roof of the garden shed into a sandpit, pretending to parachute into enemy territory. Australia in the 1950s was a wonderful place to be a child.

Christmas was approaching.
