Walking to Cullen

We walked from Findochty along the coast to Cullen this morning...... a beautiful bright morning, with lots of sun, just perfect for walking.  It is not a long walk, about four miles, but very enjoyable.  We first of all came to the village of Portknockie, which is a lovely wee place with a nice wee harbour.  Then we continued along past the Bowfiddle Rock, and then the path took us down on to the beach at Cullen Bay and we walked the last part round the beach to the village.

Our intention had been to have lunch at the Rock Pool, but sadly we didn't book and they were full.  Rather than wait around we had lunch in a deli at the top of the street, and it was fine, with huge portions.

We had a wee look around, and bought some things, and then took the bus back to Findochty.

Then we drove to Fochabers to the Baxters village, to do a bit of retail therapy, before going back to Cullen for fish n'chips at Linda's.

Our last night, so we had a few glasses of red (heck we had a few glasses of red every night!!!).   The HG had white though!

Thanks for the stars and hearts, which have put this on the Popular pages.......
