well, what do you think guys?

I passed this mural when I went out a walk this afternoon to meet a friend for coffee. The friend I met once said to me that, "he really enjoyed my wisdom."
"Aye, if only I would actually take my own advice, I might be much better off!"

Interestingly in last Saturday's Guardian there was an article about just such a thing. I like the theory that it is because when we intellectualise something we don't fully feel or experience it and this is not enough for us to make a change. We can see the truth and logic in any given situation, but unless we actually feel it in our lived experience then we are more than likely not to follow the good advice.
