Nearly perfect

Saw Scotland at its best for most of today. Glorious sunshine as the Teenager and I yomped up Bein Ghlas and Ben Lawers. The views were stunning and the boy didn't whinge at all - well except about his legs that hurt after a run at school yesterday. But that was ok.
Then we found this beautiful spot to camp. Sun, stream, heather, views. Sadly it had already been bagged by a trillion midges. We battled to pitch the tent, then retreated to the car. After several further attempts to venture out we finally gave in and packed up.whats the point in camping if you can't sit outside?
