FRIDAY MORNING AT UNION SQUARE

This is the Farmers' Market where goods are brought in fresh from up and down the Hudson Valley.  Small farms only, and the farmer must
be with his vegetables or meat or cheese or bread, doing the
selling.  That's the rule - observed most of the time.

There are some wonderful bargains to be gotten in potted plants

especially as spring turns into summer, but, the vegetables have
gotten a little pricey. However...pricey or not, I still go down there
to shop because everything is so fresh.

And once done with shopping, I go up to 23rd Street and 5th Avenue
to EATALY and a great espresso.  It's fun.
