North Rim of the Grand Canyon

Once we hit the Grand Canyon, it feels too close to the end of the trip, but the North rim was especially wonderful today. A 65 mile off-road jaunt was needed to get us there, and we had the whole area to ourselves for the three and a half-hours we were there. The 1 mile drop to the base of the canyon seemed all too close with the high winds we experienced today. 

We decided that 6 feet back was the safest until the winds eased off a little after lunch.

Tomorrow sees us in Antelope canyon, then off to the south rim, before Vegas on Friday. Lost a day or two blipping through lack of internet in a couple of locations.
