Low Tide

Today, the solstice, and as it turns out from Wikipedia and related research I was on the beach of Puget Sound when the moment of Solstice occurred; it was also a low tide day. Are these related? Hmmm. More research.

The bared rocks with sea creatures awaiting the incoming tide are like tiny jewels. These inland sound beaches are not graced with crashing waves, but when the tide is low one can walk a fair distance in sand and muck. All good. Kids, dogs, and lots of adults are happy creatures on such days - and we wait a long time to be awarded one like today here in the far northwest corner of the USA.
