Tea in the sun

The event was called "Harvest Fayre" and there were lots of unusual chutneys and jams for sale. However, far more popular were the traders selling scarves, bags, clothes and jewellery. It took place in a former dairy yard and it had a lovely rural atmosphere. The farm has gone over to beef production and a herd of handsom Sussex cattle were in an adjacent field, making a lot of noise as they were excited by the people and cars.
It was good to sit in the warm sun and chat to friends, and I came home with a few goodies which might be Christmas presents or, just maybe, might end up in my wardrobe! Well, it is a bit early to be buying Christmas presents, isn't it?
