Montenegro

This is the last stop today and we sailed into Kotor in Montenegro and from there enjoyed  a trip to the Cetinje Monastery. This is a Serbian Orthodox monastery and is located in Cetinje and is the seat of the Metropolitanate of Montenegro and the Littoral and its name derives from Saint Peter of Cetinje. A center of historical and cultural importance, it was founded between 1701 and 1704 by Prince-Bishop Danilo I on the site of the former court of Ivan Crnojević. This is a little church on the site .
We then went to Budva which is a walled city that is  2,500 years old, which makes it one of the oldest settlements on the Adriatic coast.
I have never been to Montenegro before and I was absolutely amazed at the beautiful scenery and the wealth of history - I would love to return and spend some more time there.
