George was (and is) grounded because he keeps fighting with what seems to be monster rats (at least judging from the wounds he is covered with). When I cleaned away the yellow puddles of his wrath I thought it safe to open the window on the steep side of the roof - well, I had forgotten about the carport that is being build on that side of the house...
